BK Industry is a distinct assembly of manufacturing, engineering, construction and distribution companies built by the BK  family. The origin of BK Industry dates back to the 1952 establishment of Shahab Power Company. The Shahab Power Company was one of the leading Utility companies, which introduced electricity to households in Tehran. Due to the change of government policies in 1959, all utility companies were purchased by the government. After the nationalization of  the power companies, the BK family implemented its strategy of diversifying its industry and locations followed by optimal arrangement of its assets. Today, The BK Industry consists of a number of service and manufacturing firms in USA, Canada, Mexico, Venezuela, Germany and Middle East.
